Stuff to do in Wellington

If it's not game day, what can you do in Wellington on any particular day?

  • Do you have a band that plays at bars?
  • Anyone want to promote a stand up comedy gig?
  • Random event you think people should know about?

Chuck it up here and support local events.

...and with that in mind, there is Comedy on at The Fringe Bar tonight if anyone is keen and not off to the cricket.

I have no connection to the place but can absolutely recommend adrenalin forest in Porirua. Best activity on Welly.

I'm doing standup comedy at the Fringe bar on Allen St, Monday night 25th from 8pm.

Come along and laugh ...

Bevan, I can just imagine your deadpan face as you deliver the punchlines. You would make for a great comedian in that respect. Probably a lot funnier than Jeremy Corbett.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Comedy Night to Raise Funds

Afternoon all,

one of our own is going through a tough time. His daughter, at just 5 years old, has been diagnosed with Stage 5 cancer and the family need support so that they can stay with her and support her while she is getting treatment in Christchurch.

With support from LFC Wellington, I've been able to organise a comedy night with 5 great comics with all profits going to the family - each one of the comedians has donated their time and the venue is only asking us to cover a very small portion of their costs.

Limited to 95 tickets so please, support a fellow LFC and football faithful and get along.

This is our next big event - we've raised close to $5000 now with a quiz night, Karma Keg and Trade Me auctions (with a few more auctions to come) and now we'd like to get people along to our comedy night.

The comedians are confirmed as our MC, Jerome Chandrahasen with Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, Cohen Holloway, Sera Devcich and Savanna Calton.

Hope to see a few Yellow Fever people heading along.
