I won a scholarship to study sports management over in Manly, Sydney next year, so that means I'll be leaving the great city of Wellington.

But I'll be at SFS every time the Nix play Sydney, and might even do a bit of travelling around Aussie to see them play in other places.

So if any of you are travelling over to any games next year give me a buzz and we can catch up.

A lot of opportunities to see those boys in action over there in Sydney. They'll be there for what - 8 or 9 games a season?

Awesome scholarship.

I have decided I will definitely get to one of the away games (which will be my first) next year. Might not be in Seeedney though.

Yep gonna be great since 10 teams are in the greater Sydney region. Can't wait for it.

You poor bastard! But yeah, good luck, Manly is a 'better' part of Sydney that other parts. You'll have to get over the water though to the SFS to watch A-League games though, it may be easier to go to Gosford from the north side of Sydney,

Easier to get to Gosford than the SFS?  You're having a laff.

Manly's pretty cool.  I give you a month until you've been in at least one fight on the Corso on a Friday or Saturday night though.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I thought I would just catch the fast ferry over from Manly to Sydney which takes about 10 minutes then catch a bus or something to the stadium.

I was taking the mickey a bit about Gosford being easier to get to, but yes, my limited knowledge of Sydney would suggest that this is the best way there.

Yeah.  Ferry is longer than that (half hour, forty minutes iirc) but you've got the general idea.

Can also bus from Manly to City I think.

Anyway.  Neato place to live, you'll love it.

Where is SFS? Is it in the city area or quite away out?

So what I'm pretty much asking is it like the Ring of Fire or is it like North Harbour?

More like North Harbour and is pretty much in downtown Sydney.

Yeah, not that far. You can walk from central easily. maybe 30 min walk (For a youth like us).
But buses are your best bet.

You will love Sydney. Get along to Sydney games too. As long as your heart stays with us

Yeah I'll get along to a few Sydney games, see what its like to watch an A-League game from a neutral point of view.
