I'm a student, currently studying radio. Through this My co-host I get to host a show, called The Daily Drive, on our little known (but great) radio station VFM 107.3.
The show is on Monday - Wednesday 4pm - 7pm and Thursday and Friday 4pm - 6pm, starting tomo.
The show will have all sorts of things - Including a sports hour every Monday and Friday which will involve discussion on the Phoenix.
Now I'm aware most of the viewers on this website are not in Christchurch so can't listen to it on the radio however you may want to look at our website and listen to/download our podcast.

Op Shop, The Mint Chicks, Dave Dobyn, Silver Chair, Anika Moa, Daughtry, The Fray. That type of thing. Ranges from 80's - Now.
Rock I guess, but nothing overly heavy.

I'll tune it in on my car, check it out, I don't want to hear 'Just dAnce' again, not a big Metallica fan and rdu is always fuzzy when I listen to it.

OK, I'll play your game. If you want some kind of measured rational reasonable response I can't offer one. Going right back my first sighting of Th' Dudes (late 70s) I've never got him nor his tunes.
So it's become a marker of taste.. a station that plays his tunes don't rate in my book.

Depends what part of the city, Going Ilam way the reception is average but going towards Sumner a few suburbs have it.
Down side of being on a community frequency.
