Cruising along with 3 kills, in a good spot, picking off enemies at will. Then lag kicks in, I cant hit anything because its already gone by the time I fire, and I find out I've been shot at about 3 seconds after I get shot.

Annoyingly there is no consistency to it either.
At least if Junior News is watching YouTube I can clip him around the ears and tell him to stop but if I'm the only one on, why do you lag so!

OK, the first real low-down of the Matilda. 20 battles...still too early to make a 'final' judgment, but here are the stats so far...I'm exceedingly pleased with them...no platty coat tails either...

The armour is excellent for tier IV...and everything that has been said about this upgraded* 2 pounder is for real...sure, you have to fire a load - but you can. If you still don't believe me, believe in the three KV-1s I finished off tonight...and you can do all sorts of things with it. I even defended the base several times tonight. Successfully. That's unheard of (for me).
Hey, I'm not saying I've moved on from the 'noob' level...yet, but this Matilda (get over the speed issues) is something very special...also you don't see that many running around...her 'real world' rep has followed her into this game...you can be special too.
*Watched youtube about it today...the guy reckons it'll be 'nerfed'(?) soon - reckons it's too powerful...
Gun-laying drive?
I had a look at the Matilda late last night but I'd need to run the Tier III Medium which fills me with dread. I might be able to Free Experience it but I was keen on using that Free XP to get my Hellcat. maybe I split it, and use the Wolverine more for the Hellcat.
Of course none of this matters as the Gold I put on last night has disappeared into the ether. PayPal said the transaction was done but I has no golds and the Credit Card has no Golds on it. Now I look at PayPal it says it was cancelled at the WoT end. Guess I'll try again.
Broke 60% last night. Despite being involved in some huge fails. Nearly saved one huge fail where a beaten up Ed, I and a Hellcat sat in the bottom left corner of cliff and took down 3 or 4 invaders before their AT2 finally got me. If I'd loaded about 4 more 'gold' rounds I reckon I'd have won it. Would have knocked of the Matilda quicker and my couple of earlier hits would have left the AT weak enough that it would have been killed before it got me. Now upped the T40 to 10 rounds of 'gold' ammo..Finished the night with a 5 kill and dominat damage battle in the SU-76. Getting her to 50% is fun but frustrating. There is only so much you can do against 8 enemies at times.
Update: I've misbehaved. I bought the PzKpfw S35 739 (f) gift pack.
A months Premium, the Tank, 2500 Gold, Garage slot and some Auto Fire extinguishers (which can go on my T40).
I justified it with wanting the tank and using it to train crew for my foray into German mediums (starting with my VK20.01). Not sure that will stand up under interrogation from Mrs. News though.
A question for you Munk on the crew thing.
If I move my VK crew to the S35, there is no penalty? Is it the same if I move them back? Could I - in theory - have one German Medium crew I just hub through the S35 to run in all sorts of tanks or will they just be trained for the VK20.01 and the S35 will be okay for them just by default as a Premium?
Having had a read I think I'm right in that the VK crew can pop between only that and the Premium.
Actually, If I get the FCM I can do the same with the Renault and Perry crews if they are the same size.
Might be on to something here.

Looks like I will add the S35, the FCM, a Matilda and (possibly) a Hellcat. I'm going to have to drop someting to make room for one of them as well (I assume the FCM comes with a slot?)... maybe a straight swap of the Wolverine for the Hellcat.

I should drop the IIIa but for some reason I can't do it.
Finding time to run them all will be the problem but a month of Prem should motivate that.
Improving. kill/death gone up .05 and damage .03. Really happy with damage, want the kills at 1 or better.
60%. Hugely artificially inflated by platting with Munk and Ed but still. Working hard on damage and by extention Experience but you have to get a lot of spare damage to improve the average by 1,
WOT doesn't seem to like my credit card. Probably for the best...

20 battles...last nights stats versing today's...almost disappointed with the girl tonight...shouldn't be really...took me a while to sober up (playing WoT half-cut - no good)...usually in the bottom tier...21 kills versing my 9 deaths...one noob moment (when I was the top dog!) proved costly...15-5 win ratio...still well over 300 XP on average...one confederate badge....but couldn't get the 4+ kill battle we all crave for...maybe tmr...

Only 17 battles yesterday. 12 wins. 11 survived (good number that). Some.monster fails.
Christened my FCM, the Matilda and .my German premium (story in that). 3 from 5 in hte Matilda.got the better 2 pounder. We got beaten on Lakeville but for a laugh I popped over the hill. Got four medals as I was dropped to 10% and killed two of them before dropping back and waiting for them. Good giggles.
So my German Somua Tier III Medium has somehow become a German Hotchkiss Tier II Light. I didn't click until I ended up in a Tier V fight in it with Munk. Wargames have fucked up. I have raised a case and hope they will give me both to cover their cock-up as the Hotchkiss looks like it will smash in Tier II.

No. While a Lee can contribute to a fail I doubt the presence of one alone can cause a fail... but I might suggest to Rosco and JJ that they start tracking some stats on it.
