Expecting a few statistic improving 'platties' for this though (in my Pz. III  tier IV especially, with you guys humping the opposition in your TDs)...I find them, you kill 'em etc etc.

Keen.  Although be warned we onlybwent 50/50 last night which is unheard of in a Plat with Ed and Munk.

Incidentally.  Wayne Brady was excellent last night.  Thoroughly recommend if you get the chance.

I need some grind work in Perry the Derpypus as well.  Stevo can lure them to me at short range and Munk at long range.

Also need to work on my scout busting in the BT. Smashed up a Pz1c the other day who came for our arty.  I just locked on metres behind him and chased him around the map.  It was fun but I forgot to set auto aim to lunch him while I was chasing him.   Need to get calmer in those situations.  Training?

Don't think he was best pleased when I was as quick (or quicker) than him.

Nice.

That code in the magazine doesn't work on the SEA server.  I have sent an email whining.

I am quite proud of my battle/win ration being inside the top 1500 on SEA.

How many players on the server?

Don't think I understand what the 'global rating' is either

Confirms what I suspected...I've got to stop dying.  Sometimes it just happens...running into a KV-1 in a Pz III is certain death...but too many times my overconfidence has killed me...get a kill, think I'm a Tiger killer, charge...gotta start using cover better...but atrocious finger dexterity, mixed together with panic attacks under fire = death.

Same.  I don't survive enough battles.  Usually due to stupid mistakes (getting stuck on Arctic the other day may have got me a spotter's medal for lighting up 9 of them but resulted in a violent death).

Scope for some training I reckon.  Get Munk, you, me, tegal, fort, my workmates and anyone else in some training rooms to look at terrain and think things through.  I'd like to nosey around Pearl River and work out some things on maps like Arctic, plus chase a Pz1c.

In my defence I do use Light tanks.  I just don't use Mediums or Heavies very often.

If logged in, always up for it...

http://www.tazilon.net/maps.html is a fairly incredible resource TBF...ta.

Faced a platoon of these (x3) last night...they might have pop guns...but they knew how to use them...annoying to put it mildly...they won.

Yep I'm up for it.

Just bought this though :)

FCM36 PaK40

Premium TD.

It's like running a heavy in tier 3-5. It's friggin insane!!!!!!!!!!!

It is as slow as hell but then gun is surprisingly responsive and quick.

So you get light and med tanks coming up to you, but you can survive their 2 or 3 shots with your armor then you just 1 hit slot them.

I took out a KV1 (with help), that made me giggle.

Insanely powerful - the most fun I've had,

That gun is what the Marder used to be like -so if you can imagine a faster, stealthier FCM..
Ive got one as well-if you get the right map you can pwn - -if you can get  a push from someone that helps as well

Redeemed the code.  Not sure how much Premium use I will get but thought better to get it used now in case it stopped working.

Wish the Magazine one did.

Sent them this:

Hi folks,

I purchased your World of Tanks magazine and love the content (your exlusion of the T40 and StuG III from the TD top ten was a travesty though :-) ).

My challenge though is that the code for gold doesn't work on the SEA server and as I'm in New Zealand that is where my account is.

Is there anyway it could be enabled on the SEA server?

Thanks
David.

Well it's understandable they nerfed the Marder then, something fast with a gun like that???. God that would have been a beast...

I reckon on most maps you can pwn. I got another medal playing it in under an hour. The one that ranks you as above 99%

Imagine a 3 FCM platoon -that would clear a map with the right spotters- also recommend getting yr driver upgraded 1st, to give you a bit of extra "speed"

I doubt you have the patience to wait until I'm on tonight and I'll keep Perry hidden.

Do you know anyone who does skins on request?  I want a Perry skin for it.

just had a really fun game. 3 of them vs 2 of us (me really...).

Took out a guy who was trying to cap us, then went down the other end and took out the other 2 defending their base.

Was actually my T18. Which I usually do ok in as well. My kills/deaths is still 0.8, but my damage caused/received has gone from 0.99 to 1.10, which I'm happy with.

Thx again for the plat guys.  Lots of sudden Pz. III death I know, but the victories at Live Oaks (okay - they left the bridge flank wide open - but who cares?), the subtle 'invader' at Prokhorovka, and the "turkey shoot" arty kills at Fisherman's Bay have increased my faith in the Pz. III when it was starting to flag (hugely).   This would be a shame, because while the Pz. III ain't the most "robust", compared to the heavies I've tried it's got one thing going for it - character.

Finished with a 530+ experience romp at Port.

Got to stay alive...

Took all evening to get to my 59% win rate after some horrendous low tier losses in my lights.  Even a Tier 1 jog in my MS-1 ended poorly.  I really need to dump it but it's got 5,500 experience I need to convert to free when I have some gold.

Came right in the end though with 44 kills in 40 battles total.  I did love a battle where I STuG(ed) the the top 3 Tier VIs on Prorohvka.  Two KV1s's and a KV2. SHoul save that.

Finished the evening with a good win in the Teeny TD including wiping out their far side of the railway lines sneak into our cap.  Even Perry ran at 60% in five battles.

Good job last night - its all about staying alive -the longer you can the more opportunities present themselves - low health tanks that can be one shotted, big gaps in the line, undefended flanks etc etc

If you sell the MS-1, the xp will remain, so you can convert it at a later date.

I agree Prokhorovka was a good fight - for me the best fight was the last one in Erlenberg in our T40s standing against their pack of 7 T5/6 mediums and heavies as they were sweeping the map destroying everything -we slowly pecked away at them from cover taking them down one at  a time until we were in a position to wipe them out -I fired 51 shots in that battle, in contrast, our top tank, some French T6 Heavy 46%er fired 5 -it was another good example of the bottom tier tanks making a crucuial difference. I also checked the stats of thier top tier platoon -one was 58%, one was 63% and one was 64% win rate, so yay us!!
