We were being held up by a KV-1...so we took him out.  Their left flank collapsed.  We won...NO GUTS - NO GLORY!!!

Streaky tank...can win 8 on the trot - and then just as likely lose the same number straight away...maybe do some more damage?  The pressure of being a tier V heavy...poor Farey...

Project T62 kind of on hold at the weekend as I grind hard to try and get my Commie light and TD crews to 6th sense (slow work...).  I have a 100% win rate in the T34 though - albeit 3 from 3.  Best fun was Munk and I breaking out the Dunkel dash and stealing a cap over the bridge in mountain pass.

Had some good wins at the weekend (one heartbreaking loss that had Kolob written all over it until I got artied) after thier TII they accidentally had spotted me for them.

Win rate was around 75% yesterday in 40 odd battles.  Have closed the battles vs kills ratio as well.  The Baby Kayvee continues to be good fun - stole a win on Karelia with them having 7 on our cap as we snuck in three in theirs just ahead of them and won - Yoink! 

Also, the A20 is back in rotation.  Got two kills and should have had two more in a tier VII battle on El Halluf.  Killed oppo A-20, a Tier VII light, had a Luchs kill stolen off me and rammed a T49 but not quite enough damage to kill him.  Considering I'd always written them off as decoration the A-20 is a useful machine.  Kind of a T-34 light.  I normally do more than my share in the A-20 but often have teams collapse around me.  Maybe it's just cursed.  Win rate is around 52% in it though.

Yeah just had "team collapse". We are 3 tanks ahead and in charge at El Halluf. I notice we lose 2 and I say don't throw your lives away. I've killed 4 and damaged a few. Next up everyone decides to go kill themselves I get slotted and we lose. Dreadful. 

Vickmeist as I suspected is proving to be a good Tank Commander. Could not get the screen shot to work, (crappy laptop), but was gobsmacked at the amount of xp/medals she gets and her kill rate. She has a very weird playing style which I can't get my head round.

That's the wife - nasty and a killer. She is less Rommel or Guderian more Model - I fear for the WofT...

Nice work on the MS-1 win rate.  I've tried to get mine to 50% a number of times and it's stuck on 44%.

Putting my A-20 on the Grille:

I've still yet to "kamikaze" an enemy.  When it does happen - you'll certainly hear about it - trust me...

I have done a few in my time.  I drove away from that one.  Survived the battle.

Just got invader in my T40.

I was at our base, then it was me and one other (who did nothing) against their 3. Went down the other end, took out one of theirs defending their base, then shot at another a couple of times, who then fled. capped them by myself with dead team cheering me on. 

Also just realised my victories are getting very much close to 50% now. 173/351 so only 8 under - I was quite a way behind last time I paid attention.

Just about to complain about how useless and thick some of these WoT bozos are, and then we pull off a fine comeback tier V-VII comeback win.  Sniped, then defended (with a brainy KV-1 pilot)...died...yet bravely...it was great.

I'm in the same boat, my early days playing British TD's destroyed my victories, but I'm slowly climbng upwards with victories more common than defeats.

This sort of shit happens to my A20 all the time:

I'm a tier IV light.  Dead bottom of the food chain and look where I finished in damage... plus I killed the Jagdpanther, doing most of the damage to it myself and halved one of the KV-1s's as well.

Repaired some of the Churchill damage with 5 straight wins (back to 55% wins at +20)...will run Mal a bit longer for credits, then hit the sack for an early one tonight (11-11:30pm)...these late nights are killing me...am I ready for the tier VI Churchill?

Mal just had to defend the Northern Passage at Pearl all by herself.  Got 4 enemies.  Called everyone noobs.  Loss.  The KV-1 vs the Churchill I?  The Churchill has a greater upgraded gun...but yeah, despite the KV pilots, imo, it probably is a better tank.  More solid.  The Churchill's front turret armour is very poor.  And all those weird armour bounces the KV gets definitely makes it more of a beast...but I am a Churchill pilot now.

It's a "shit magnet" though everyone throws stuff at you. I'm still up and around 72% win rate last I checked but running a heavy seems to need a really good set of crew and I'm going with "repair" for everyone. The KV-1 spends half it's life with its tracks off or engine/gun/scope/add another here damaged.

I'm going to give it a rest until I can invest some gold in it. I'm also going to go Churchill as I've gone the British route so it won't cost me.

Fadins medal -bloody hard to get that -i can still  remember mine -hitting the last of their tanks, a hetzer in my SU26, back when I was still playing arty -in the thousands of games played since, the opportunity has never come up again

Tier II Clan wars last night.  One battle in my DERPy T18.  Not sure I hit anything but we won.  I'm 3 from 3 in Clan Wars campaigns.  Very different way to fight battles when both teams have co-ordinated plans and TS callers.

Last night in particular the flexibility to move 8 or 9 of our force from by the bridge on Mountain Pass all the way back through the cap to the ice road made for amusing viewing.  The biggest Lemming train you have seen, then all sitting like the starting grid in an F1 race at the bottom of the ice road..  Also, a good arty pilot in high tier dropped into a T-57 schlepping gold is lethal.  Got five kills, basically all their scouts watching access routes and allowed us to steamroll the ice road unseen to the base they were camped in.  Arty must have done their heads in..

Then failed in a carry attempt in a company battle in the Hellcat.  They had a Hellcat, an SU-100Y and arty left, popped up and halved the SU-100Y at our cap but I stuck my nose out the wrong way an got SU'ed by him before I got another shot.  Can't remember who it was against but they were expected to steamroll us.  Would have been interesting if I had got the 100y as thei Hellcat was more beaten up than me (I took a hit from a KV-1s that took 2/3rds of my health) and I might have been a chance vs arty..

Stevo.  Did you buy the Val II or was it a Val I you were using?

Just that I like the idea of a single tier MM option.

Bought the Val II.  Not the most "exciting" tank in WOT, but yes, the MM is very kind...never above tier IV.  A very good tank at this tier.  Good armour.  But not perfect either.  Sluggish.  Gun pen issues...needs gold rounds to get the results (800 credits a round).  But when you use these, then only a Matilda can cause issues for her...

Nice Tegal. could have been one earlier if I'd not got focussed on that T-50 in Steppes. would have been a huge carry though.
