Will it apply on the football feild if the player is coming from the right or left?

Of course, and since this is a New Zeland rule change here's a simple way of remembering:

"Remember: ACFC goes before me."

"If it's Waitakere, we give them three."

Follow these simple rules and everything will be alright.

I don't blame you. People obviously don't know about the new rules or are still obsessed with trying to run orange lights regardless of whether they are supposed to give way to you. I gave way to two cars who I wasn't supposed to but it was either that or get hit. Thats Palmy drivers for you. Idiots!!

Had one close call so far when some lady forgot the new rules. Then later i was giving way to a bunch of cars and all of then gave me this puzzled look as to why i was giving way to them, including some old guy who looked awful confused then seemed to realise halfway through and sped up.

There's still a whole lot of people in Wellington who ...
don't read papers, talk to other people, look at billboards, listen to radio, or watch tv or have computers...or don't understand English...
At nearly every stop where the new rule applied yesterday I had someone who was following the old rule....And the NZTA think they've got it covered !!
