Even by NZ cricketing collapse proportions - 99/1 to 119/7 - pretty spectacular.

any guesses why I came to Korea?

cricket being so far away couldn't hurt so much i figure + i would hopefully get better at football.

It wasnt so much of a collapse as it was us trying to be positive to actually win the match, and it just didnt come off...good on them i say...we are still a long long way off losing the match, therefore it was a calculated risk

That is why test cricket is the best and only kind

And if we get couple of early wickets, then it really could go either way. At the moment though,a draw is most likely, followed by an england win...then us

Can't see Skippy Sinclair playing for NZ much longer. A shame. I remember his debut oh so well.

A double ton on debut. I think everyone was expecting more.

Got the bloody inlaws coming around tomorrow arvo.  And they're not into cricket. Think its rude to watch TV while they're here?

Not in the last day of a nicely poised test match its not. In fact, its rude of them to come over in this situation.

it's on prime,so if you have a t.v in another room and providing you can get prime, you could always sneak off for a few minutes here or there

Hell no.

Every Boxing Day I sneak away from lunch with the in-laws to watch the cricket. By the late afternoon all the blokes have come and joined me, leaving the ladies to natter on in the dining room...

Easier said than done. My father in law is one of those rare breeds who doesn't watch sport. He wouldn't even know who the All Black captain is.

I'm a bit worried about when we tour to England afterward. With  Fleming retiring and Sinclair general crappiness, our middle order might start looking even more dodgy than it was on day 4.

personally i think it would just be wrong.
cricket = beige ppl thingy.
football = yellow fever.
season starts august (june if you wanna count pre season)
let cricketers and cricket fans fight the fight against barmy army like they have always done and wear something old and beige.
