OK I'm a bloke that cycles a lot and currently I'm trying archery, in the past I've done a few martial arts. Also I studied art history for a bit.

Played croquet for the 1st time late last year as part of our office Xmas do. I thought it was going to be boring, but I was so wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A very tactical game which I like. Might take it up in my twilight years.

I sing in a barbershop chorus, we came in 7th place at the International Barbershop Convention last year in Kansas City, the highest placed chorus from outside the US. We rehearse on Monday nights, and I often have to sit out of rehearsal because I have lost my voice from shouting at a Phoenix game the day before.patrick4782012-04-16 16:52:51

It does mean that I get annoyed when we sing the intro song and the rest of the Zone can't sing in time with the music on the PA...

I was very careful NOT toe mention Stand Up, there's a reason I mentioned Carnival de Paris instead of it

Was doing a lot of yoga. More of a challenge than I imagined.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

So what's Yoga like? I've been out with a couple of women who did it but not a bloke? Good stuff or not what are the benefits? - Seriously

When I was in India many years ago, we spent a week in a place called McLeod Gange (spelling).  It is where the Dali Lama lives (we saw him drive past one day).  For that week, I did Yoga for 3 hours every morning (9-12) and loved it.  I have always had very tight hamstrings, and in that week when trying to touch my toes I went from being able to get to halfway down my shins, to being able to get both hands under my feet.

I have done some Yoga off and on since then, and really like the Bikram Yoga, where it is 40 degrees in the room.  This is partly because of how you feel afterwards after sweating all the toxins out, and partly because it is nice to be surrounded by sweaty women in lycra bending and contorting all around me.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

You were so close to a completely serious and insightful post.

you surround yourself with fit, sweaty girls (and the odd chubby one) trying to bend themselves in pretzels and try to stay serious and insightful.  It is impossible.

I did yoga for a while and enjoyed it, plus it was me, a french guy, and about 15 women (one of which was my gf). I reckon if I was single I would go again because the girls all think you are a nice sensitive new age guy because you are at yoga, and the sheer weight of numbers is in your favour.

And it does actually make you feel better! Both from the actual exercises and from what I shall now call the "Frankie Mac" effect

People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.

I've always thought the "Frankie Mac" effect would mean laying in a gutter after a hard night out with 2 syringes sticking out of your arm and pimp about to audit you.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Dunno if you guys have sold me on the yoga front yet, I am suffering from stuffed knees and shin splints so maybe it's not a bad idea.

The only thing that gets me about yoga is whenever I talk to women about it they just talk about fanny farts.
