That has to be a new record, they get a mention every preseason we have had. Deserves more Cow Bell.
Things that piss you off...
The lack of knowledge displayed by The Telegraph readership in matters relating to Godzilla.
It's obviously not Mothra in the latest trailer.
Have you never heard of Rodan???
I deserve much Karma for pointing this out.
Also whenever Godzilla is discussed Godzuki is mentioned. Let's try and avoid that.
When people walk, first their heal lands and thats fine, but then their toes land and point across themselves at a 90 degree angle!!!

The guy playing drums next door while I am wallowing in a hangover.
Also the guy who acted all keen to go home last night then dropped the old 'I'm married' thing at the last minute. Waste of time.
Hang in there girl. You will find some decent guy one day.

Off topic threads popping up that are three years old. Random.

"Rory McIlroy publicly announced the end of his engagement after the marriage invitations had been sent out because 'he realised he wasn't yet ready for marriage'.
After breaking the news to her (Danish tennis star, Caroline Wozniaki) over the phone in a call that lasted all of three minutes, Wozniaki thought it was a joke."

Looking at houses to buy.
Supposed to be an exciting time but my partner is treating it like any other shopping trip. Must look at every possible fucking option weekend after weekend. Not only do I find it fucking boring, we have already seen at least 2 places that we decided were suitable but she who must be obeyed has decided that we should still keep looking at other places whilst we are making a final decision on the ones we like! To me not looking during this time makes perfect sense. Does anyone else agree?
She's got to like it and decide.
Otherwise it will be your fault for ever.

This is pretty common with women. Men are easily pleased, a couple of poles and a tarp would do us I suspect. I've often wondered if the Germans or Bonaparte would have made it to Moscow if they had employed women quarter masters? The attention to detail and the obsession with getting everything right is mind boggling.
As J82 says you just have to put up with it.

I gave up in the end and said go find a shortlist of 5 and then I will come looking!
Then again it can be helpful... I was ready to pull the trigger on a house, but when she wasn't happy we kept looking, and found something much better for only slightly more. It is a tough time though, by the end I just wanted to get anything and get the whole process over and done with!
I'm of the opinion that there will always be something better if you keep looking but that doesn't result in me owning my own house.

Ffs they come up with some stupid ways to try and stop people binge drinking.
All they need to do is to actually enforce the rules they have in place. Get tough on drunks who are vomiting in the street. Get tough on clubs that let any wildly drunk person in and serve the alcohol. That'd stop it. But instead they're coming up with all these stupid laws and curfews that only serve to punish those who actually do drink responsibly.
Will always remember having to carry a drunk girl from Cuba street because she could barely walk. We get to boogie wonderland, she barely stumbles in, the bouncer lets her in. I walk up and he says "nah mate you're too drunk". Unbelievable.
You're second sentence hits the nail firmly on the head. Therefore it will be ignored by the politicians.
The need to be seen to be doing something will always outweigh the common sense of enforcing good policy that someone else came up with.

Totally right. There has been a massive shift from policy makers and management to justify their own positions to change things for change sake and to be seen to be doing something, whether its effectual or not.
The opinion of people doing the work that is effected by these changes are rarely taken on board to any extent during the restructuring process. What happens is that you have a reasonably well functioning team or department which is broken down or amalgamated with other departments usually at the cost of jobs.
The thing that annoys me is that the middle management and above seem fairly immune to these purges and their own positions and performance is rarely evaluated and they never face"restructuring".
