Do you actually think there will be an end to this middle-management way of speaking, working etc? Surely there must come a day when someone with enough influence goes "hang on what does these people actually do?"

It is crazy. In all the "Business Communication" courses I have ever done, admittedly these are numerous years ago, it was spelt out clearly to avoid jargon and acronyms. Having to go back and find the meaning drives you nuts. It took me the best part of an hour to read and sort of understand two pages!

A lot blame I think falls at the feet of Schools and Universities that demand essays of 3000 words. This just results in people padding out with meaningless drivel to meet the word count. Surely if you can say what needs to be said in 500 words, that is all the better.

8:00am Friday Morning - Another call to noise control (After the 9:45pm off, it cam back on at 6:30am), this call resulted in getting the email address of the head of noise control, worded an email to him and got no reply.
9:00am Friday - ANOTHER visit from the noise control group (Not sure why it took an hour), no music since.

I hate Robben, so much. I hate it even more when he's playing well as he's incredibly effective and quite unlike anyone else. I think the Dutch would have been my favourite of the semifinalists if it wasn't for him.
