Especially in relation to a couple of other threads EN!

Seen two films over the past few weeks:

Mao's Last Dancer
How to Train a Dragon (in 3D)

Both rule.

Was thinking that all the 3D movies that are coming out are a gimmick to make you spend more (certianly i think so for Up - the last 3D one we saw).  But the dragon film was very cool with all the flying scenes.

I just couldn't work out why the adult Vikings had Scottish accents and the kids had American ones.

The Vikings might've been 1st generation Scots.  Don't know about the kids with American accents, America hadn't been officially discovered then.

Maybe not things that rule but something that fascinates me:

How can kids go around in shorts and t-shirts when it's a luvverly Wgtn autumn day with southerlies and rain and not feel cold, when us old farts have to wear michelin man clothes and still feel like we're Scott in the Antarctic?

Sorry I just have to bump this because I'm so stoked at the moment (and I haven't had to resort to El Nino type pursuits of happiness - "my hair is thinning and my belly is round, etc")

Football in 2009/10:
  • 14 Nov 2009
  • Nix 4th in the League, 3rd in the finals.
  • Toon Championship winners
  • Spurs...to be confirmed but a lovely season so far and better than I had expected.

If England win a WC final (or a Semi final for that matter) on penalties I'll eat my hat that I milk cows in.

All Whites winning and England making the second round is probably more likely.

Sounds very arousing.

Seeing Steve Matai completely take one of the miserable convicts out last night in the ANZAC test.  Seems as if he's not worried about winning as long as the Aussies leave the field in pain.  Like when he clothes-lined that guy in the ANZAC test last year.  Didn't we lose about 56-6?  He wasn't fussed, just happy he nearly took a guys head off.

lol by doing their thing I meant eating berries and getting fatter... got no idea how wood pigeons procreate as I've only ever seen huge round ones - the sumo wrestlers of the bird world
