Ambush marketing!

I should be taken to a room filled with orange clad Dutch girls for several hours of questioning.

I have been very bad and need to be punished.

'The Story of the World Cup' by Brian Glanville (2010 Edition).

Great writer, great book. I'm only up to Brazil 1950 and I already want to make sweet sweet love to every page.

+1. Then the Nix would only have to take their home games up to Hamilton.

I don't think anyone disagrees with the concept (Diego's Son excluded) but Someone there needs to put a hand up and get the bid together.  Just saying they should have one doesn't make it happen.

Ask Canberra.

I realize this of course. Honestly I would be very surprised if anyone here ever did put their hand up for it. Maybe the success of the Nix last year plus the hype of the World Cup will get someone interested.. Time to start dreaming of Big Wednesday for now

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

As my taste buds have matured Burger Rings have made Cheezels redundant in my household. Twisties still do the biz, but Cheezels are now an anachronistic snack.

Twisties, but the original recipe.  The current Twisties tastes too much like Cheezels.

Yes.

Just had a flashback...living room packed with wasted dudes (girlfriends having long since gotten bored and left), 3am, floor littered with empty stubbies, pizza boxes, overflowing ashtrays and bits of cigarette paper, making Kluivert score his umpteenth goal against a hapless Brazil...

Good times.

Man that takes me back a bit. We had a PC which was far too slow to be running this game but I got it anyway. It was very choppy but still kicked arse. Australia won the World Cup about a million times over in '98.

When your All Whites car flags have people yelling out their window and giving you thumbs up not to mention hundreds of people pointing and smiling while stuck in traffic through Paris. Amazing feeling.

Metallica coming to Christchurch.  Over a dozen bands I'd rather see but these guys would be wicked.  Doubt I'll get a ticket but will try.  How much were tickets to the Auckland gigs does anyone know? loyalgunner2010-07-05 22:27:47
