I find climbing up on a mountain really helps get ones life back into perspective: you really realise just how insignificant you are in the grand scheme of things and how fragile life is itself. I start to appreciate the small things in life that we often take for granted and come back down feeling really refreshed.

Bit like looking up into the starry sky at night and having a "wow" moment or three: I highly recommend it. Like tonights sunset was stunning down here in chch.
