Had another bonza day in the mountains the other day. The previous week there had been a big dumping of snow but thanks to global warming(!) and the heatwave that came after the snow, there was hardly any snow left by the time we got up there, but it was still very icy and you had to be careful.

So anyhow we bagged 3 peaks in one day: Mt Blimit, Mt Temple and Phipps peak. They are all on the same ridge and all in the 1950m mark approx.

Three of us went: a Walsall fan, a gooner and me :D First time ever that Walsall had the chance to be above Arsenal hahaha

Frozen tarn below summit of Mt Blimit. Gooner on thin ice:

On the ridge between Blimit and Temple. Walsall wearing yellow gloves being followed by gooner:

Looking back along the ridge we just traveled. Thats Mt Blimit top center. Gooner can be seen lurking below me on the ridge looking for a new manager I assume. god knows where Walsall has got too.Div 4?!

There's Mt Rolleston the peak I climbed the other week. Went up via the ridge line on the right that goes straight up to the summit:
