Who remembers the credable female newsreader in the U.S. who, live on air, refused to do a Britney Spears story? She threw the story aside and said it didn't belong on the news and she refused to do any more about her. Quite rightly as it isn't news, it is gossip. Everyone applauded her stance. I dare say if she had to lead the news with a drunk All Black story she would have thrown it at the camera and walked out

Good on her.

I think sports coverage in NZ is all made worse for me by the bobble headed idiot Andrew Saville. If he could just keep his damned head still when he talked he'd be a whole lot better. He's like a dumbass version of Brains from the Thunderbirds, who always looked like he was pissed out of his little wooden skull.
