Checked them out the other day... slightly disappointed the special edition don't contain yellow (and black - stripes) but will be in regardless!

Does this now mean that there will be instances of Kiwi men caught fucking their running shoes?

Got these to help make up for the fact I'm working today and tomorrow instead of heading up to Aucks. Almost worked.

So how many of you lot are actually going to run in these..?

Can you really run in them?

The Wool Runners are designed to be run in as a minimalist running shoe. What does that mean? Basically, that they have a really thin sole (in our case between 9 and 12mm), which many studies have shown, actually promote better form when you run. The reality is that that is not for everyone and if you are used to a big "chunky heeled" pair of Asics or Nikes then you would need to be careful before you run the NYC marathon in them.

Even if you don't plan to run in them (an estimated 85% of Nike Free wearers never have) they are super comfortable, lightweight, and as comfortable pair of jeans as they are in the gym. They are great for folding up and travelling with, for walking in, and, hopefully you agree, a really beautiful, simple form that is refreshingly devoid of "swooshes" and branding; something that we have often found is hard to find.

Haha to be honest, I won't, just a hundy bucks for a snazzy pair of shoes and good cause etc but if they're awesome, may get a second pair for running.

I just googled "running".

Yeah, nah.

I'm always excited about shoes.

And while News and I are both definitely adult sized I'm not sure either of us qualifies as "grown".

He still looks fit and hope his business keeps on the up.  Not sure what he's doing with his hair though, looks a little One Direction!

Thanks for posting the link.

I ordered a pair of the Black men's runners and they just turned up today.

Feel really nice, very thin outer and certainly a bit different. Wore them for a few hours without socks, couldn't get over how warm my feet were, but not in the slightest bit sweaty or sticky.

I definitely wouldn't go running in them but didn't buy them for that purpose, just as a casual pair of shoes that I might even be able to get away with wearing to work.

Great work Browny, onto a winner I reckon!

i just saw this on stuff about an hour ago, got my stalker hat on and contacted a lady who does the promotion work for tims brand and asked about the chance of tim signing his shirt that i have in my collection. she got hold of tim and he said he was happy to sign the shirt but it would have to be today as he is only in wellington for a short time. big problem for me as i can not get to wellington today. she was nice enough to say she will contact me next time tim is in wellington and he will sign it then.

Nothing to do with him being a WC old boy Smithy?

You can physically feel Wellingtons collective IQ lift when he is in Town.

Seriously though you are dead right. I remember him and Siggy and Ricki chatting with my young fella for ages at Hutt Park raceway in fricking terrible weather after they played NZ U20's. The game was memorable for the Nix debut of Toto.  It has stuck in my mind because they were both actually engaged in the conversation, even though they had probably heard it a million times before.

I am not sure this attitude is quite there with the Current crop. Sure they do whats expected but it generally seems to be with a glazed over, get me out of here looks.
