I finally joined Twitter this week to folow the bronx snake's adventures through NY. Have no interest in tweeting myself but already getting tons of interesting gig info and arty stuff frm following certain local bands/dj's etc

Whelp, looks like Elon has really effed up the platform now.

Unverified accounts now can only see 600 tweets a day, that expands to 6,000 if you pay for it. Can't even view profile pages without accounts also it appears.

I remember Musk saying something about how one of the best things about Twitter was that people could access the content without logging in. He really is a huge hypocrite and a grifter. However 600 tweets seems quite a lot, I doubt many people would hit that limit?

Considering the code pre-loads tweets, yeah it was easy to hit yesterday. I checked out the replies in a couple Woj tweets about OKC signings and maxed out in less than an hour yesterday morning.
