So the American electoral system is pretty weird. This guy makes awesome YouTube videos (seriously, follow him) and he made this one years ago on the American Primaries.

The worst combeover in history could be President?

Imagine him and that idiot from North Korea playing "War Games" but with real nukes - Could easily happen and this scares the crap out of me.

Was talking to this American guy, a Trump supporter, in our alliance on my mobile game. He was moaning about his neighbor who he called "Obama" and his neighbors hatred of guns.

I asked him why he supported gun use. He went on about the 2nd amendment and how free access to guns "will make America great again".

I said "how can America be great again if you're all too busy shooting each other?"

"Lets not talk about politics" was his reply

I may be corrected and am happily to be told so but haven't there been approximately 10,128 related deaths from gun fire in the USA thus far this year.

Here

Isn't better to get on with living rather than concentrate on killing or dying?

Tomorrow our time will be a telling day. Momentous. Quite possibly historic too.

In for the twitter meltdowns and fox news stupidity.

Three for me, and two for them.

I'm not worried, Trump won't win. I'm just interested in the meltdown he and his supporters have afterwards.

He might win, the problem is the US election system is very flawed which means a couple of states have all the power. Bush won despite not winning the popular vote in his first term.

I suggested to my work colleague that if Hillary wins it might be a good idea to keep a low profile as democrat supporters and she said that she has no signage this year because she's worried about reprisals. So, the reason Trump signage is everywhere and Hillary signage is not to be seen might be because the Democrat supporters are scared of the more "bat shark crazy" parts of the Trump supporter group.

The aftermath could be significant. The left and the right are so far apart and have so much hate and disdain for each other that there are bound to be flashpoints all over the place and I don't think I'm over reacting to say that there will be a significant rise in domestic terrorism and/or rioting.

Sure its a weird system to us and you are right, but it does need a couple of states and he isn't leading the ones he needs in the polls.

I'm not so sure. He has played the celebrity so well. When I was over there for a month all I saw on TV was Trump. I very rarely saw Hillary, I think it was only for the debates that I ever saw her on TV or coverage.

Screen time = votes. Plus all the banners everywhere were Trump, for reasons given above.

I've heard one of the reason for more Trump than Hillary signs is more that people didn't want to say they were voting for because Trump supporters were so nuts. Polling however shows she is more likely and Trump needs to win more swing states to get him over due to way the Electoral College works.

How close is it now? Another forum i'm on seem to think it's all heading Trump's way (they could be talking total bollocks for all i know though).

Its close, Trump taking Florida and Ohio doesn't mean it is over but means it will go down to the wire. If Hillary was to take Florida it would have been over.

I don't know about that, more people can talk about US one. Most in NZ don't like to talk about who they voted for and who they are happy with leading in the election so they can stay out of political arguments with fellow NZers.

Should be more worried about Putin and Kim Jong-un.

What scares me for America is Trump is president, republican control the house and senate. Soon will also control the Supreme Court. Feels like you will see rights for women (abortion) and LGBTQ go backwards in the states.
