I was having problems with using my best mate facility today so I rang the Vodaphone 777 number and spoke to the helpdesk. I asked the guy where he was as I noticed an accent. His reply? ...... Egypt - I kid you not, i was talking to a guy in Egypt! I followed his instructions after he reset my account and I rang back to thank him. Anyway a lady answered this time and yes, she too was in Egypt.
Amazing how 3 numbers - 777 can give you a free International call and they had all my personal data available to them.
Word of advice too. Unless you just won the 19 million in Lotto, don't use your Vodafone for Internet access, a very very expensive exercise. Thank God my short trip only cost $26 of my prepaid.
Ps: anyone else got a Motorola Motorazr maxx V6? My other cell phone crapped out permanently two days ago and got this as a replacement. Cost me $400 at Dick Smiths and I notice today in that Cell phone magazine, that they gave it a recommended retail price of $999.
