I would've liked to.  I vaguely rememer the day as a 4yr old, I was sh*t scared from the noise of the wind.

I was 7 at the time. the schools were closed. i remember that incessant rain and wind. I remember the old Murphy 26" b/w TV showing the Ship in the harbour and it's demise. The saturday after the storm, My dad drove us around there for a look and the harbour was like a mirror, and sunny skies. It was impressive. Certainly worth remembering and respecting the sea.

Well before my time.  But i did watch a good doco on it the other night on TV1.  Interviewed surviors and people that helped out the rescue. Heaps of old school video and photos.
