How is the storm where you are? It's pretty windy here on the North Shore, but it comes and goes. Power is still on ... for now. Got absolutely drenched in town today. Hopefully everyone pulls through alright, it is meant to last a few days.

The Shore is getting lashed. Gotta love the thunder and lightning though.

Three for me, and two for them.

We had a bit of lightning and rain earlier in the day, seems fine now.

Nothing really out of the ordinary for Wellington.

Nelson had some rain, but been on and off all day, it's f**king terrible weather!

It was a let down, expecting something more ruthless. Weather can't get anything right.

Umm Storm?

Everyone I spoke to about this storm really hyped it up. MetService and Weather Watch will lose all credibility if that was it. There is a bit of damage around the country though. And we lost the power at 10.30pm.

Was pretty stormy in Palmy North last night. We're used to sh*t weather but I had my wheelie bin and rather large pot plant tip over and thats never happened before. Heavy rain today.

What, 60 km/hr wind gusts blowing down trees & ripping up roofs? 100 km/hr here & everything still standing

I had about a third of a pretty big pohutukawa tree come down at lunchtime and just miss my garage. The wheelie bin is now full of tree and most of it is still on the lawn

Well I got drenched watching football tonight. This storm seems to show up at all the wrong times.

Today:

Wind? - nah
Rain? - nada
Phoenix? - nixed

Oh well, at least I weaseled out of mowing the lawns for another week due to other priorities.

No wonder some prospective players don't want to play for the Nix. This will put back summer sports another week at least.

We've almost had the average rainfall for September (dating back to 1960) in one day.

Think the Phoenix will be glad to be on the Gold Coast.

Fuck this stupid game

Should of made this week my away game week and gone to the gold coast.

I don't think I've heard the rain stop at all today, am in Mt Cook. I think it knocked out our power last night as well.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.
