Wellington - a moment
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Pretty

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

It is. I missed putting it out which more or less signals the start of summer.
When we pulled it in at the end of last summer (first time for me) it was, no laughing,  a really poignant moment.

and in the same vein, just before Xmas and coming back from Welly over the Paekak Hill I just had to to stop and capture this image of Kapiti on my cellphone. It was about 8pm, flat calm sea and not a breath of wind; glorious.

Great pic! All it's missing is some soft New Age-y music and Tem Bro talking about the majestic beauty of Aeotearoa and BAM! You got yourself a tourism ad!

Ha! I lived there for nearly twenty years. Left NZ for a three month break in 1987 and came back two years ago.  "Gloomy and s**it"? Far from it. Try it some time!

Which is wetter? Wellington or London? Go and check it out.

England in summer is green and beautiful. London, contrary to popular belief, is not the sum total of England.
