The other week the wife and I were in Wellington beds in Upper Hutt having a nosey at bedheads. We were lining up a Pine wood one with a Rimu stain. Whilst asking the usual questions about sizes and price, were asked if we might be interested in a real Rimu one. Thinking along the lines of around 2-3,000 dollars worth I nearly choked when it was only about $150 more than the Pine one. It was just over $600.
 
This last Wednesday afternoon it was delivered by the man himself - he of TV commercial fame, from Wellington Beds. I'd like to say how much I appreciated the quick service and the quality of our new Bedhead. Yes Wellington Beds, you lived up to your TV commercial claims - Thanks heaps and thanks too for the Laser copies of your Phoenix sponsorship posters too. Gotta get them laminated now.

I'm beginning to think that LG is not a real person at all, just a composite of various marketing agencies that have realised that the 'Fever is a good way to get to that tough, stuck between the teeth demographic.

All good. if I can't handle the teasing, I shouldn't dish it out either.
 
I think I've been watching Derek the Chef too much on "gone fishin'" with his blatant product endorsements, However Wellington Beds have earned and deserve the plaudits!
