The sign would not get maintained and if people are against it then it would get damaged which would not be a good look. Plus its just plain tacky.

Looks like the real Hollywood is a bit upset as well with their chamber of commerce claiming its a violation of their trademark.
Also even though our Mayor thinks its a wonderfull idea there are apparantly many councillors who are disgruntled at having not been told about the plan in advance ,surely a matter of courtsey one would think !The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.
