Former knights/kingz players.

Like Dennis Ibrahim and Andre Blume.

What happened to them when they left?

Last I heard Dennis had packed in football and moved to Portugal to spend more time on 'religious interests'.

Andy Bluhm,
Andy Bluhm,
f**k off Andy Bluhm,
You're f**king sh*te,
So f**k off home,
Andy, Andy Bluhm.

He hung around for a while.  Played a season for Central United.

It's hilarious how none of them did anything after leaving!

Whatever happened to Gerrard Davis? He was a solid if unspectacular midfielder who even made the NZ side if I remember correctly. He seemed to just disappear like the Kingz.

What about Andy Vlahos? (sp?)

He was a stocky winger,
I think he was in the melbourne squad for season 1 of the A-League?

Three words to sum him up:

Fat useless gobsh*te.

Three for me, and two for them.

Any more players that we wish to reel off here.

Julio Cuello - The goalkeeper who ironically couldn't catch a cold....or a dog falling out a building on fire.

John Markovski - The original fat bastard.

Brad Scott - Why?

Steven Turner - Akin to Wilkinson, Sam. Useless son of dad who was in position to play him every week.

David Moya - Crap personified.

Three for me, and two for them.

Now now diddums i wasnt referring to foundation players. I was referring to overseas signings. Like Ibrahim and Bluhm the ones i mentioned.Because a few foundation players did quite well, Dino Miniello and Robbie Middleby included.

Jonty what's-his-name? Richter. Where did he go and what did he achieve. His first A LEague season was good, then he moved to NZ.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

His first A-League season he couldn't finish a cheese sandwich.  He's playing non-league somewhere in the UK.

anyone know what Con is up to? ahh memories..."If you see a thieving Greek clap your hands..."

Paul Harries, Aleksander Midtsian (what was the other Norwegian guy - Schjerven?), Miyazawa, Daniel Duke, Michael Cartwright, Tallan Martin...there's a great list from the Kingz days.

Almendra was a bit too clever for his own boots. Remember the infamous penalty miss against South Melbourne?

Three for me, and two for them.

Steven Turner is now working Brisbane, I knew who his dad is but didn't realise he played for them?

I actually thought Steven was a tidy player.  One of those guys who distributes the ball with consistency and class.  I always admired his pass completions which must have been a huge percentage.  WHile others fapped about pritchett i though Turner was the better player for the Kingz.

Con is coaching in the second division in Victoria, can't remember who.  Espen Scherven.  Miyazawa is still in Auckland somewhere and Tallan Martin still in the NSWPL (last i heard).  Cartwrights Mrs was one of the most stunning women i have ever met... Angie or something like that ?

Almendra had a season at Lower Hutt City in the National League pre his Kingz signing.  Brilliant - but an irritating little wind up merchant who seemed to exasparate his team mates and opponents in equal measures.
