Other forums enable me to remain logged in from multiple PCs. This forum should too, imo.

Something for the future? I pray to Mod to make it happen.

this forum records ip addresses so i think it doesn't allow you to log into the same account from a different ip if you are logged on with another one. i have to log on every time I'm posting from work and again when i get home. UberGunner2010-02-11 18:41:44

Its funny this because I use to browsers to search the web and if I switch I have to log in again... Lets be honest though is it really that big of an issue... Always has to be something to whine about I guess.

IPB is soooo much more efficient for readers, mods and admins in soppo many different ways.

For some reason I have to log in all the time, from the same PC and with the same browser. Not sure if it's something to do with the link between Windows Live Mail and Firefox? Agree with Cboz though, not that much of a hassle. That quick login thing at the top is a good recent addition.

I would have thought mods might be interested in ways that they could improve users' experiences. As I said, I use a lot of different forums and this is the only one where I have to log in each and every time I switch PCs.

And are you whining about whining?!

No, it just doesn't use cookies right. Each user can only have 1 cookie, when allowing multiple ones would fix this.
