Winter blast

Crazy day today, snow in Wellington (the first time in 15 years), plus snow here in Christchurch, and Dunedin.

How has it been for those who are back in Welly or in other places around the country affected by the cold blast?

It was so cold.  Everyone at work was excited to watch the flurries out the window.  I think the Johnsonville train lines were impacted due to sleet.  Very weird day of sun, rain, hail, wind and snow.  

Although today’s weather is slightly better than yesterday’s, spare a thought for the Nix Women’s Reserves and Miramar U15s who play at Wakefield Park at 7:45 tonight. I know I should be a good club supporter and go along, but…

A new chant required for the YF 

Well we already have “It’s f***ing cold” from shirts-off at Porirua Park, that would work. Just as well it isn’t an 80th-minute tradition at Reserves games!
