Not Funny
Hope you weren't googling for his surname.....

A "friend" tells me that the link was about 14 pages down when "he" was searching for him.

I'm slightly disappointed!

Now I'd pay good money to watch that.

Germany aren't too strong, but a QF vs Russia...yikes

Yes, think they were more hoping for a gold medal final between those two or crosby v ovechkin!

The US goalie had a great game. Some fantastic saves. Canada outshot the US 45 to 23.
Germany should be no problem for Canada.

Canada 8 Germany 2. BRING IT RUSSIA!

Might have to watch my Summit Series DVD in anticipation.

Also - Canada's mens curling team, 9 wins out of 9 matchs. LOVE IT. Bring on the semis.

Saw what I think was a highlight of a woman's luge race and there was a Romanian competitor whose name escapes me and she was absolutely gorgeous.

That is all.

If Canada don't go through to the final, I'd probably cheer for Sweden, if only for Daniel Alfredsson.

Oh, and just for Buffy...

Great game by Canada last night. Russia looked shell shocked in the first period. From there on it was all downhill. Canada v Slovakia semi then possible USA v Canada final. A chance for revenge.

Women's hockey gold for Canada  2-0 over the yanks, with Finland winning Bronze 3-2 over Sweden. Now to have the men repeat that feat and we're sorted!

Canada now tops the gold medal count with Jasey Jay Anderson winning mens parallel slalom. Awesome result, had a poor start and had to come back for the win. Terrible result for Stanislav Detkov, got screwed out of medal contention due to a mechanical difficulty.

I hope Canada can exact some revenge on the US. I might have to wear my vancouver 2010 mittens round my neck tomorrow in support

I'm skipping the first and only lecture for one of my papers tomorrow for the hockey. I am NOT missing the revenge match of the century, not to mention Canada's chance to win hockey gold on home soil! I'd offer to text in updates for ya Oceanic6, but my phone is dead.

Team Martin just won the men's curling for Canada in a bloody good match. Guessing I was the only one watching since hot female curlers were no longer involved

I caught bits of the curling. Interesting game. Looks like it could be fun to play.

Haha. Canadians seem pretty harmless to me bro. Plus they're always getting the piss taken outta them on South Park. I feel for them.

Three for me, and two for them.

Wow, US just tied it up with 20s remaining with the 1 man advantage from a pulled goalie. 'Golden Goal' overtime starts soon.

Come on Canada pull it out. I left my olympic mittens at home so will feel guilty if they lose. My brother lives in Vancouver and told me scalpers were selling tickets to this for over $5000 stealthkiwi2010-03-01 11:41:36

I can truly say this has been one of the best days of my life. The celebration at Four Kings was INSANE. Huge group of us there, screaming our heads off, belting out O Canada at the top of our lungs. Quite possibly the greatest moment in Canadian sporting history, certainly up there with the 72 Summit Series. Sidney Crosby's goal is to this generation what Paul Henderson's goal was in 1972.
