yes it looks like a bitter wind.

I should dig up this climate research stuff on tropical storms. It goes from the 1960's... interesting use of predictive science. I like it.

Just got off the phone to family in Cairns and they are sh*tting themselves.Its going to worse than anything else they have had in the past.Typical aussies tho they were more concerned that they had got in enough grog to last a week.

Latest is 296k wind and will drop 300m of rain.
Just as well they cancelled the Fury v Roar game.

Won't be much to clean up if it was 300 m.

And the A-League might then be short of a few teams next season.
