well the poms are in town on a cricket tour soon and i think it would be appropriate in fact it would be rude if we didnt attempt to take on the balmy army. im thinking more of the test match at the basin in early march  (cos poms dont tend to travel for pyjama cricket and really tests are the superior form of the game).
but anyway it would be great to congregate on the bank for a day, have a few ales, sing a few songs. get a bit more exposure. and really to be able to say we outsang the barmy army even though there may well only be 10 or so of them.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definatly keen, I plan on going down and helping Beige Brigade out. I'd probably prefer to do it in beige rather than in yellow though.

Sod it, I'll go down in my 'nix top black enough for the black caps!

Ryos is bringing in some cricket gear soon, maybe tommorow, so I guess I'll be leaving my nix top at home and will be wearing teal and black!

Who's going to the test? I might go to the first day, but all Sunday I'll be at Newtown Park for the Team Welly match (+ youth league match beforehand)

I'm boycotting the NZ cricket team until they sack Bracewell, he's sh*t.
I'm even contemplating joining in with the barmy army
Bring back Steve Rixon or bring in John Wright

From memory, there were probably around 100 balmy army at the last England test at the Basin.

And they made a lot of noise.

its not that horrific colour from the late 90's is it? cos that would be oh so special. prime example being the 99 world cup kit

My older sister is a lesbian with depression. So I guess your definition of teal suits her as well!

I always thought it was more Gay Green.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
