Mods let me know if this is not allowed.

If there are any players that haven't yet been snapped up by a Wellington Club or have just missed out on their Clubs U19 squad and are interested in trying out for a guest spot for Napier then PM me or let me know on this thread.

I am looking more for a ball playing midfielder or a wing back.

The Club is North Wellington and the squad is a mixture of Cap 1, 3 , U21 & College 1st XI players.

As per the rules you must be born after 1Jan 1992 and be over 15 as of September

For other Clubs: We will not attempt to actively recruit any guest player away from their current club. I am purely looking for a good player to include for the Tournament over and above what I already have, mainly due to an injury suffered to one of my players at the weekend (broken leg).

How is the lad? Feel sorry for him but he (and the rest of us) will better understand the importance of shin pads now. Nothing worse than an injury ruling you out of a tournament, been there.

Fuck this stupid game

He spent Saturday night in hospital and is in a full leg cast for the next 6 or so weeks. Just one of those things that happens in Football,  both players challenged for the ball  (fairly I must add) and bang broken leg.

His Dad did say that the Drs think it still would have broken even if he was wearing shin pads, based on the height of the break but still a good lesson for everybody.

Poor fella, sure looked bad judging by the pain he was in. Yeah have to agree, the way they hit each other was probably more significant than the shinnies but it just makes you wonder. Anyway, send him our best for a speedy recovery and return to the playing field. Good luck for your recruitment.
