I'm assuming this Sunday games are 2pm?  Doesn't leave much time for pre-nix build up.

Edit.  Just checked Cap Footy's website.  Games are 11am.  Good stuff.

Greenes, Wainui aren't strong anyway so you guys will probably be fine.  One of their coaches is my assistant at Petone and he was stressing that you guys might thump them hard so having a few of yours out with Coll probably not a terrible thing.

Upper Hutt should be on and hopefully our team makes its way down there from the HB

Just finished training with the U19 boys for Olympic.

Looks like we are going to have a youthful side, but plenty skilled.

Might get protests put up against us as half our Greek boys are hairier than 42 year old men and in the Greeks case, 27 year old women.

No predictions yet?  Early days I know, but can Petone defend for the 3rd or 4th year in a row. Will Miramar win after coming second last time or will Olympic clean up everything this year.
What about Stop Out, are their youngsters ready to step up this year or Island Bay who I heard have enough for two teams finally get a Trophy for the cabinet.

Negative there feverish.

Last year i stood by the squad as we had a few older boys leading the charge.

This year there is diddly squat.

Most are in their 16/17's with an average age 17.

Where as last year we had about 8 senior players, this year, only 5.

Eat it.

We played last weekend (thanks to Brendan Mac for agreeing to that) because I'm off to Melbourne this weekend.

It ended up Petone 16s 1-5 Lower Hutt.

I gave you our result.  We didn't play Wainui.  I agreed a fixture and then forgot about it so poor old Wainui turned up to play us and we'd just played Lower Hutt.  I was very embarrassed, which is why it delights Hard News so much.

They were very good about it though and happily had a training session instead.  Bless them.
