2015 NZ Futsal National Junior & Youth Championships

Girls U15. Mainland unbeaten over 6 games, 55 goals for, 13 against. Won a tough final 4-2 v Auckland. In the U19s Auckland beat Capital 4-1 in the final. Boys kick off today. Games being live streamed. Check stuff.co.nz or search on the Livestream app

watched most of under 15 girls and Canterbury were the dominant team. 2 Waimak girls who are only under 13's scored 1 less than golden boot winner who also came from Canterbury. Typically competitive National tournament . Highlights for me were the passionate Wai BOp coach, outstanding goalkeepers from every team, the respect for real skill appreciated by the mainly Wellington croud, camaraderie of players across teams and the work done by the team to achieve the live streaming. Not my favourite version of football but becoming a fan based on the level of skills displayed.
