I am really enjoying the amount of keeper training that I'm getting at OneSports. In fact, that's why I insist on keeping pushing myself to play as high a level as I possibly can, and me about ready for the retirement home - I've been looking for a club where I might actually get some keeper training. I got a little bit at Metro a couple of years ago, but last year I was at a club which had two (or three?) former FF keepers on the books and I got half a session on keeper skills all season.
I honestly think there's a gap in the market for skills coaching for adult women. There seems to be a huge divorce between all the hothousing of young women who have a shot of going pro or playing for their country, whereas older women (who are never going to be elite but still want to be as good as they can get) are expected to be satisfied with the "mums' coffee group" social leagues where even turning up to 1 practice a week is seen as a huge commitment. That's not for me.
