couldnt believe grounds were closed tuesday night.this season has the feeling already that it will be 'published finishing date plus 4-5 weeks' due to council closing the grounds. final rounds could be played as curtain raisers for the nix ..

Early game was about 60 minutes old when it became unplayable and was called off.  There were hardly any areas of the pitch where you could kick the ball along the ground without it coming to rest in a puddle.  You couldn't dribble it at all; it just got stuck in the water.  Farcical.

Wests v Wharfies Premier game didn't even get started.

first weekend of the season, and already pitches are an issue.

Its going to be a long season.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

I played at Benburn against the Karori team in the Masters today and it was a similar story. I think it was the first game where instead of hearing "get it on the deck" the players were shouting "keep it in the air!" We managed to finish the match though.
