At KP today, two players down with head injuries for at least 30-40 secs. All the players from both teams, both benches, most supporters demanding ref stop play. Some things were said "for fudge sake there is two players down with head injuries" = a yellow then "do you know the rules regarding head injuries" = red.
Happened later in the game too, no cards didn't stop play.
After the game ref said he gauged nothing wrong with players so played on. Also didn't let help come from sideline for players down. Wouldn't comment on what exactly was said.
Just to add to this I was there as I was refereeing a later game. Spoke to the referee you are talking about and he says the player swore at him after he gave him the yellow, which is why he got a straight red. I'm guessing what was actually said will be put into a report to Capital Football.
I can't comment on the head clash as I didn't see it but if players do want play stopped and referee hasn't stopped it, they can kick it out also.
