I am pleased to announce that the mighty Plains Rangers are back in BOP div one, after Taupo pulled out. Rangers are gonna be based at Awakeri this season after the Whakatane District Council kindly started upgrading their pitch in Edgecumbe. They started in August, but so far after three rotary hoeings and one levelling it is still a sea of dirt.
Anyway, Rangers will be up against fellow ex-div two teams Fury and Te Puke, who are both very ambitious, and another seven teams.
Sounds like Otumoetai, who won BOP div one last season and are now in the Fed League have had an excellent pre-season and could well cause some surprises in that comp.

actually with Taupo not in the league, we'll have slightly less travel!!

Katikati in the west to Opotiki in the east, Rotorua United in the south. In between we have Whakatane, Tauranga City, Tauranga Boys College, Old Blues, Te Puke and AFC Fury who are based in Te Puna, just west of Tauranga.
