Well i suspect it is to keep all the grades having played an even number of games, otherwise at the end of the season Capital 1 would be finished and capital 5 would still have 2 or more game to be played (meaning their division might well no finish and they do still have promotion/relegation).

And though I can see where you're coming from in that you might expect the lower divisions to be cancelled first, i do believe that the teams in capital 5 pay the same amount in registration as those in the higher grades so I would imagine they would be a bit pissed off if they got cancelled every week while other people were playing

Those are my thoughts anyway

Thing to remember about Cap 5 is they were cancelled for the last two weeks, when other grades got to play last week... I think it's just Capital Soccer trying to share the cancellations around all the grades, rather than stuffing the lower grades around all the time...

In my opinion 1 game per ground should be fine. However i feel sorry for those loweer divisions who get cancelled each saturday when the grounds are bad, they all pay subs and cant even play footy. We can only blaim the weather tho. Heres a pitch for you, stop global warming and join the Greens Marist AFC.

Crawford Green wasnt too bad to play on. There was one Mud puddle at the north end, other than that the rest of the ground was fine to play on. Bring on the sun this week and the footy for the weekend.
