I was told by someone present that Alec McDonald Senior lined Joe up from behind as Joe was receiving the ball and inflicted a vicious and deliberate kick into the lower back region. Alec was looking for a reaction and got it. Evidently Alec got off scott free when the dust settled.
Aaah... The "I was told..." approach ..... maybe you could have thrown in an "allegedly" for good measure
