Fair point greenie. Not volunteers but most wouldn't be making much net. If you listed all coaches and players in order from who received the most payments in a season, I wonder where refs would fit in.
Maybe if it is payment they are after then the officials can share the $200 fine
The way to avoid the $200 fine is to not abuse officials? Not that hard to work out surely?
Plus I can guarantee that the potential fine someone is going to get has never crossed my mind once while out on the field. A player/manager does something that warrants them to be sent from the field = they get sent from the field.
