why have you played less games than others?

is the rule for the cup just that you can't play in two cups ie Kelly and Plate?

this is your Prem. Can we say you haven't planned well?

Its not up to me what players the 1st team coach plays in his games, so no planning on my part - he was chasing W-League promotion so I'm not going to ask him to put my team ahead of his. Its not the end of the world and we should be promoted comfortably without dropping any 1st team players down. We played a game less cos Richard Prouse was unplayable and the catch-up game is tonight. Worth noting that all but 5 of the players with less than 9 games played are either injured long term, have left the club or are 2nds who have played up.

And yes, my understanding is that that is the cup rule - excelpt if a 1st team player played KS CUp that has no effect on Executive plate elegibility, only Kelly/Executive Plate do.

The rule isn't having a massive effect on my team, its not hamstringing our season and I wouldn't even necessarily drop 3 first team players down unless I had to (my current squad is 16 wins 1 draw from 17 games and some of the eligible players on that list wouldn't improve my team), just giving an opinion on the rule itself and how it could be improved and tried to put it in a real life context.
