Wharf were up 1-0 early on. Pressed BNU well and deserved lead. BNU showed a determination not to lose, and came back soon after, and in 2nd half were superior.

BNU went 3-1 up around 75th, and wharf pulled one back in last minute. Nomad couple of sharp saves. Ref was interesting.

Yeah pretty much this - wouldn't say Karori deserved their lead though. Both teams hit pretty hard by injuries. Karori only had one sub. And we had a couple of walking wounded playing for us. We definitely aren't putting out the same team week to week.

Also KCU turned up for the lolz after playing their game at 12:30 and attempted to support Karori, it was all just a bit weird, especially after thie coach wishing us all the best last week. Oh well, that's football for ya

seems NW has caught the karori bug from the other week when they finished playing wellington united at alexmoore today.

i was informed that the home and winning team didn't stay for speech's…..

perhaps they are better than the rest so feel it is beneath them to show good manners and etiquette to there visitors ….(thank god for spell check)

apologies were given by the club to the wellington united team who all showed up and i also apologise for the lack of hospitality from within the football family at NW.

Not a surprise. There was never much sign of the first team in the clubrooms last season, after games or any of the social events.

Disagree. Perhaps with the social events, but they were there after every home game last season and when they were away they did their best to get to the away team's clubbies.

It's very disappointing to hear no effort was made on Sunday however.

Wainui beating Mar on Sunday at Davey F 2-1. Miramar had two penalties saved - classic

did you go get a cheesy toastie?

mince and cheese is pretty good…..

Teza would of been at Wakefield watching the first team win another game so would of missed your visit.

and he also missed the membership card draw but that not a real loss for him as one of the girls from one of our women team's who made a special trip to the club on a saturday and picked up the $500 on the first draw.

as for the red carpet treatment we had the fire going and i hear you managed a win so what more could you want?

Strange! He must have been there seeing he is such a loyal member of the club!

..he is known for talking a good game but failing to walk it.

I can't recall unfortunately.

yeah the club was full of loyal supporters as you would expect for a saturday at speech's time of around 5pm

even the Ex first team captain Matt Dunne showed up to show support for the club but not the managment and had a beer and a toastie

so you were there at the clubrooms after your game and stayed for the speech's but could not put the score of your own team up on the board?

or is the" i cannot recall "really "i was not there" even though your team played at home and won?

the person chastised by dave during the speech's was bobby who did manage to put his teams score up on the board even though they lost as he is a club person even if some feel different because of some flaws bobby has.

I must admit I wasn't at the clubrooms on Saturday due to work. Didn't say I was there, may I add. However I did make it out to support our first team for a brief 20 minutes during my dinner break, at Wakefield, thought you would be there too? Or is actually supporting the football not your game?

so you would of missed NW first goal or do i give it to Island bay as their man headed a nice one past his own keeper from range.

there were other things on in the NW camp so i needed to divide my time so my fellow members and i could ingest the maximum out of them all.

as for your memory lapse "i cannot recall unfortunately " thats a old man excuse for a cover up of his mistake.

and you seem to remember now where you where so why lie/deceive as you could never recall what you did not see ?

you should of said i was not there so i cannot comment as this was true.

Ha. Clearly you have no idea. Not only was that not an oggy, but it was the second goal. Muppet.

Never said I was at the clubrooms, mate. I agree that I didn't say I wasn't, but i'm sure my response answered the question from my perspective.

I suppose you're an 'expert' though so I must be lying..

well put horsehead21

i was hoping to hear sum opinions on KCU going top and BNU loosing form at the back end of the comp.

this form change could help some who are still to play BNU twice.

and also what has happened to karori this year as they struggle to beak out of that relegation zone with 4 of five within a couple of points of each other.

All bad blood put aside from the 11 team league saga we had at the start of the year. I would like to see North Wellington finish right up there with Charlie involved. He would have to be one of the best coaches they have had in a while?  From the rumours I hear he is not the kind of guy who does it for the money either.

There's post match write ups of all BNU first team games on the clubs facebook page written by first team coach Dene. I think i read the last 2 weeks there have been 8 new faces take the field, so that might explain it.

How have the wheels fallen off? They lost only their 2nd game of the season playing away to the other form team in the league who are now rightfully top of the table.... shock. This time of the season for basically the last 10 years they have been way down the table. Id say its a huge improvement.

nice aj13

they also lost to marist which is not a top team.

but your earlier comments about new faces might be the coach's plan to stop the typical actions mentioned by horse head21.

i would like to see BNU have a good season to match the ladies performance, as BNU as a club has had a lot of good people put lots of time over the years into creating a identity to be proud of in the local area.

but i also have the hope that either BNU or KCU will drop a few and NW may get a sniff of promotion of course

Poor Capital 1. They are going to lose Weka Park and Wakefield, and gain Fraser Park and Seatoun Park. Ouch.

OOOO, I think NW may have something to say about that.  Have two games against Brooklyn so in their own hands and they're hitting form!
Though the point still stands.  An artificial out of the equation for Seatoun/Fraser. Booo
