Howday forum. Just come back to country from OE, so bit out of play, but heard shocking rumour bout point-pinching in this grade ... without doing research (as student, can't be afforded to time), can I get recap pse?

Got mixed messages to date. Heard, but can't believe true, North Johnsonvillers protested league top team cos they lost to teenagers who weren't given appropriate medical dispensing.

Say I, well done to Northern Johnsonvillers. Those kids could have got hurt during that 9-1 loss to Waterside of Karori. Honor to you for protecting of their interest and honor. You have held up their safety over any interests of others. Hummus.

Then I herd Northern Johnsonsons protested cos Cap Futsals web site didnt register transfer of their former captain, yet apparently did accept register other players coming from Johnsons Norths. Hmmm, sounds strange, but again, I believe that club is not club of mother of goats and would respect to be fair. Surely they wouldnot be issue if he had cleared all dews as it said he did.

So again, I say this must be fair play and well done to North of Johnsontown for insuring fair play is kept at highest standards of play of fair. Without Norths Johnstones single-handed actions of acts, league would be disgrace of unfair, unsporting, unfairplay of unniceness. Thank you to parents of family of club from province of Johnson of Northern, may your family be proud, as we all are.

Thus and Allah, for you bashers of Northern Johnsonviles, I say you must be wrong. The truth will be bespoke before the bespoke be the truth (or is that the bespoken be bespoke before the truth be spoken) ... North John has shown all that we must not lose focus that on park endeavor is second to following law of letter. Cross of i and dotting of t is how sporting contest should be played.

Thank you for reminding all of how to compete Northern of Johnstonesville.

Don't give up your day job

1: Uni did not follow the rules (and they knew it) so got punished .
2: Karori's issue was more unfortunate and if it had been up to me I would have let it go (and settled for a complimentary pie and beer as penance after the return match at their place :) ). Unfortunately it wasn't my call.

Look, however much some of the rules seem asinine and redundant, they are the rules so we have to follow them and if caught breaking them get punished. If clubs don't like it then they can get the rules changed by lobbying Cap Football.

To me it seems that clubs have got away with gaming the rules for years now (especially for the old chestnut of Central and Cap Prem clubs dropping to many players down to ensure wins for their lower teams). It happened when I was playing and it still happens now but if we want a level playing field and fair competition for everyone then the affected clubs need to step up and speak out.

It might sound a bit holier than thou but hey when we sign on to play  or coach we agree to stick to the rules.

Sunday Sermon over.......
