havent seen Island Bay but assume they would be front runners as they will prob do warm ups and stuff. Other than that it should be pretty even across the rest I guess (as always).

Caught the second half of Wharf v Tawa. Ended 2-0 to the home side.

From what i saw though it was one way traffic the other way. Cracking day at KP.

maybe ones to beat. They have more player than a prem team can hold.

Watched Lower Hutt - BNU game, 4-0 to Lower Hutt
Was impressed with LH team full of young skillful players who where fast an fit

Took the game to BNU in 1st half an finished chances well to take a 3-0 ht lead

2nd half was a bit closer with BNU going close on a number of occasions, LH countered very well an could have had a couple more before finally getting 4th, could have been a 6-3 scoreline quite easily

Wish I'd seen the KCU game!

Good game for goals.

Two penalties (One very weak for KCU (and a candidate for worlds slowest dive))
NW held them off for a decent amount of time with a lead but then lost their midfield and KCU obviously made the most of it.

yeah we defended for the second half - but when you are two up that's all we need to do. Still wondering how a hand ball on the line is not DOGSO. Also nice of mohammed to intervene with his interpretation of the rules. Anyway, Tawa looked a bit avg in first half but better in second. If North Wgtn lost to Kapiti then both of them should find themselves down the bottom of the table.

Watched first half of LH vs BNU - BNU looked fairly average aside from Ben Keats in the middle and their captain up front. Lower Hutt very handy looking, but guess it will be a week to week thing with whatever 16 year olds they get gifted from the 1st team - watch out for Taban if he plays, Usain Bolt like speed.

Always nice to start 4 from 4. Don't know much about Kapiti and they seemed to do fairly average last year.

Who is there? Any players standing out?

Lost 3 players to Wests after last year, but most of the us from the Paekakariki cap 3 team are back (4-5) Also gained 2 from Warfies and a couple of others. So really only about 1/3 of the squad is the same as last year. Good start to the season for us, KCU last few years has been a bit of a shambles but looks to be getting back on track now. Lots of good young players coming through as well!

BNU 3-0 Tawa, game delayed 20mins after about 15mins as yet again the Wakefield lights didnt come on. Called the council, they werent interested, so someone ripped the cover off the lights to turn them on. I can see WCC getting upset over this ...
