BNU docked three points - what's the story?

That division was shaping up to be a really interesting relegation battle but now it looks as though BNU are right up against it.

Who has Brooklyn got left? Any chance of three straight wins to stay up?

It was for playing an unregistered player - says so on the Capital Football site.

so an all-in pitch battle is acceptable, but playing a person who hasn't filled out a form is not?

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Is this "all in brawl" covered somewhere else in the forum? I heard a little bit about it but would be interested in hearing the blow by blow account!

Waterside Dreamers have an impressive defensive record - twin towers Feverish and Merrick playing at the back?

It was there on the table the whole time? - doh!

So they were docked points for an unregistered player - schoolboy error...

It happens all the time in this grade.  We played Uni when they started 2 first team players and brought another 3 on at half time.  But what can you do about it.  Although a unregistered player is a stupid mistake to make.
Im sure BNU will do the same with there team this week.  As will other teams whose first team has finished.

Dreamers v Stokes Valley -  Should be a good game - wonder how many of Wharfies Premier players are dropping down for this game, same as last week ?. Thought they would have used Karori 1 for this match, or is it still under water !!!!!!!!!!

Fat chance it being open, light showers are forcast for Friday, so that will probably be enough to FLOOD this water logged pitch once again

I expect it from BNU but the seatoun players didn't strike me as fighters. maybe thats why corner flags were used

Seatoun have got the points, going by the updated league table, Stokes Valley need a point to win Capital Two when they play Marist this week. Thought Wharfies would have been to be to strong, 2-2 draw .Anyone watch the game ............. ChopperHarris2007-08-22 17:11:44

Cheering for Marist now, if Wharfies had not drop 4 players against Marist, they might have been able to stack the team this week. I really hope Marist 2nds DEFAULT and payback Wharfies and give Stokes Valley the league

ha ha yeah I thought of that one.
Miramar we're the better side though. Wharfies first team had a bye the week they were originally meant to play Marist firsts anyway -so still would have played players and won.

Wonder if the draw on the weekend put a dampener on the Valley supporters bus trip home. Prob not. They prob couold have flown home if the dubious aroma coming from their changing shed was anything to go by..

Stokes Valley win capital two, great contest with Marist 2nds who were 2-0 up, Stokes came back with two 2nd half goals and the point was enough. NO DAMPER THIS WEEKEND Feverish

sorry to jump in on this post, but Miramar were the better team? Is that referring to Div 1....if so Marist beat them 2 from 2 so even though i do congratulate Miramar on winning the league, I think its a bit close to say they were categorically better.

And I think Karori 2nds were lucky to beat Marist so I wouldnt have been 100% sure they'd have beaten them anyway...

Anyways, not too stressed as we got promotion, hurrah

and to try and get myself back on the topic of this thread...ish- congrats to SV for winning the grade and Marist for getting a point to come 4th

Why don't you go and play masters then, don' t care if you lose, really. That was't the reaction after the Stokes Valley game. The silver medal for coming second is ok, Go the Valley

To set the record straight on this bnu were docked 3 points for playing an unregistered 1st team player who got booked, so the result changed from a 3-1 victory to bnu to a 2-0 victory to marist.

as for the abandoned match at seatoun park bnu were 2-0 up with 5 mins to go, when a fight broke out between 2 players, it escalated into a brawl involving 1 bnu player and 6-8 seatoun players, the ref hadn`t turned up so the seatoun appointed ref  promptly "abandoned " the game, as the bnu player who was involved in the incident left the field he was attacked by a seatoun player weilding a corner flag.

capital football waited till the end of the season to see how the results panned out before awarding the game to bnu but sent a letter blaming bnu for the entire incident claiming such behavouir would not be tolarated in the future, they had requested a report from seatoun of the event but never asked bnu for their version of it, they also thanked the "ref" who was the reason the game degenerated to the level it did. another gutless performance from the incompetants running the game in this city
