Does anyone out there apart from me care strongly about the Wairarapa United 2nd team being allowed back into Capital 3 even though they didn't fulfill the criteria for automatic entry? Let me provide some background: In 2006 they were in Capital 3 and were the most ungracious bunch of losers ever to come over the hill. They got 4th. In 2007 they stayed home and played in the local league and got 4th. Now, there is rule somewhere, that states the Wairarapa 2nd team can enter Capital 3 by right if they win their local grade. Did they win? No. But here they are waltzing in with the permission of Capital Football at the cost of a local side Island Bay 3rds. Love to hear any other views on this.

um how did island bay 3rds get dropped from it????
my understanding is tawa 3rds and eastbourne got promoted from cap 4 for this year
so how did island bay 3rds end up getting the drop surly they wouldve stopped eastbourne who finshed 2nd in cap 4 last year coming thru instead of dropping a 3rd cap 3 team??
does seem a bit harsh and stupid be intresting to hear what island bay says.

i think one of the teams that would have come into the grade by right either from relegation or promotion wasn't coming in, or maybe an existing team has dropped out. That would have meant IB staying in. Then Wairarapa came along and you know the rest

im really not 2 sure intresting one really.
in saying that though capital soccer has always done well in my books worked well etc etc. sure its hard to please everyone and money usually does talk but same in any bussiness so long as they bring these teams/ideas(consulting the clubs its going to affect) in a democratic way im all for it.

Agree totaly with your case. Our club has tried on several occasions to get a team into a higher grade, only to be told, start at the bottom Capital 13.Wairarapa should be treated like all other Wellington clubs. Will they finished the season without defaulting, unlike there 1st team who did default a premier game last season and no one gave a stuff.

defaulting a premiership game is a fine of 2000 dollars for a default in cap prem aint it??
doubt your tawa/kaori/island bays could afford that.
