Anyone else on here involved in the grade?

We had a good 2-0 win against Olympic yesterday, they're a completely different side to the team that got wiped in the league last year. Very physical and quite angsty. Had a pretty funny ref who let pretty much everything go he was very old school, was quite enjoyable to play some hard physical football that was left to flow. Though if the game had gone 10 more minutes it might have got out of hand.

Half the grade is much up of NW and Tawa. Be interesting to see how all go.

A very frustrating 2-1 loss to North Wellington yesterday. After not having to do anything for the last 2 weeks our keeper was a little bit asleep and spilled a couple of regulation balls straight to their striker for their only two shots on target for the whole game. Not a good day in the office for him but I'm sure he'll bounce back. We may have to find ways to keep him entertained in games.

The rest of the game consisted of us having about 70% possession and 30 odd corners trying to break them down as they sat on their 18 yard box for most of the game. Credit to them for defending resolutely and I guess we are just going to have to learn that this how the less skilled sides in this grade are going to play. Still a very frustrating way to lose a game but we'll just have to adapt in situations like this and grind out wins.

Quiet in the cheap seats. Didn't we get rid of you to Jaffa land? Be gone with you! Hahaha.

Get the feeling the rest of the league won't miss stop out either... They certainly have ambitions to play central league if not higher and believe they are good enough for it too.

similar views from (I suspect) many in cap 6 last year including us (re stop out).  I'm sure the response from them is "sore losers" and that pretty much confirms the point.

Looking for a team for rest of season. Clubs in Wellington city only. Fit and have trained with a team for the last month.

A fan is a fan.
