Yet another loss for the Killer bees, 4-2 at home to the uni stallions,
We barely tested their Keeper, and like almost every other game we have played they could have had more - except they had a habit of shooting from distance when they had better options, however we are starting to compete a little more and with a bit of luck we might get some results in the second half of the season

We (Lower Hutt) won 4-2 in a fairly even game against Wellington Elite. I got clattered in the 80th odd minute taking a header to the face with a golf ball sized cheek bone to show for it. Still, pleased to get another win and remain 5 points clear of the league.

Yeah pretty even game against LH. Thought we were controling the game for first 30 minutes, 1nil up then LH capitalised on a couple of mistakes to score with our keeper gifting a goal by letting one go thru from a freekick (he got fined big time for that one!), once LH got their noses in front we were playing catch up. When we got it back to 3-2, thought we could go on and get a point from the game but LH got a lucky break and finished it 4-2. Look forward to the return game at home.

So Lower Hutt have finally dropped points - nice one Raiders. Another draw with Elite (1-1) means the Stallions don't make anything of it and drop to 3rd. Curious to see the 2 promoted teams from Div 7 last season carving up in Div 6.

yep raiders beat us today 4-2 - a pretty even game played in good spirits so cheers for that.  a rabid dog loose on the pitch threw us off our game and we crumbled in the second half.  several very strong contenders for misses of the season from our lads and some good goals from the raiders.

Another loss for the killer bees. 4-2 to the Uni 4ths, it was a pretty even game, however they took their chances better, We were lucky to finish with 11 players after one of our players took exception to being stomped on and chased the offender down. but besides that was a game played in good spirits. Finally scoring a goal myself is a relief, hopefully there are  few more to follow

More dropped points for the Hutt. Drew 1-1 with Varsity with the usually superb goalkeeper making blunder of the decade (so far) to concede Varsitys goal.

Not sure if there is a Uni 4th XI representative on here but if there is (or anyone else knows) - what colour strip do you guys play in?

Our club manager is keen for us to wear an alternative strip as he thinks there may be a clash for our game this week(us in light yellow/green).  Last time we bought along the alternative against the Raiders it proved unnecessary.  I am pretty lazy and can't be bothered picking the strip up if its not needed so just wondering if anyone knows.

Cheers

We played  them last weekend - they wear gold tops and green shorts - so better grab that alternative strip

Killer Bees finally get off the mark with a 3-0 over the Uni Raiders - was a good end to end game and could have possibly been about 5 each - however some poor finishing from the Raiders cost them.

Did the uni 4ths manage to get to Fraser Park in time? they were out at Nairnville at about 2.15 with no idea that they had been transferred.

yeah they got there around 2.50, most of us were ready to go home. lost 1-0 to them, the team fell asleep in one of their free kicks in the first half.

Congrats Stokes Valley on getting your first win. Hope this is the start of something and you can knick a few points off of the two Uni teams for us, and then roll over for us when we play you next...hopefully.

Yeah, nice one Killer Bees, though I don't like the rest of Lil Joe17's script! The Stallions almost comical run of draws continues - dropping points everywhere but still in touch with the leaders. It was almost worth the draw to play Friday night at Te Whaea, and a good game against Nth Wellington. We scored the equalizer in about the 87th min  - so happliy take that draw against a good side.

Yeah can't believe how many points we and the Stallions have dropped. Opened the league right up

2 wins in a row for the killer bees - This time 8-3 over lower hutt, score doesn't reflect the true nature of the game as it was a lot closer that that, good game for me - I took advantage of some tired defenders and  scored 6, - still leaves us in last place though.

goal of the game however goes to lower hutt,  40 yard volley calmly put away

What a result, congrats RonnieMac - 6 goals, nice one. Stallions beaten by Uni 4ths in a Kelburn Park derby. Good competitive game, with Lower Hutt losing it sets the 4ths up well. Oh well, a Uni 1-2 Div 7 finish wouldn't be the worst thing ...

CJ09, it was weird seeing Colin line up for Varsity!

RonnieMac put 6 goals past me...arrrghhhh....bloody hell though. Congratulations to Stokes Valley on the win though.

Well Colin's top of the table and we're dropping points! Oh well!

We got transferred to Newtown Park (never happens!), leading 2-1 after 60 then we go on and lose it 5-2...still scratching my head over that one. Saying that Nth Wgtn played well at the close and we tried on the hallow turf.
SV up next, not sure we want to be up next after a couple of wins under their belts!

Killer Bees took a hammering today, beaten 5-1 by Marist Cobras, We were missing a few due to injuries and the world cup, but thats no excuse they wanted it more and dominated the games, conditions were awful aswell

Similar story for us - beaten 5-1 by the Stallions.  We sure have fallen from our lofty early season heights..  I thought we could and should have got at least a couple more, but full props to the Stallions, they played well and we deserved a pasting.

On a personal note, a couple of moments of magic from myself in beating the wide midfielders.  Pity the rest of the game involved alot of plodding and laziness..  I pick my moments.

Well, as one of those Stallions wide mid-fielders you understand I'm dutybound to say never! Yep, a good win for the Stallions, we played pretty well. Damn that top of the table is getting tight - its going to be an interesting finish. So who are we picking for the promotion spots? For me its got to be the 2 varsity sides.

Goals galore yesterday in Div 7 - Te Whaea bringing out the silky skills of the grade huh? Good having the games all back to back, we even enjoyed the Elite boys laughing at our pregame shooting spree. Stallions pulled out a rather unconvincing  4-2 win over the Raiders - some great goals, but the rest of it was pretty ugly. How did the Cobras-Lower Hutt game go?

another disappointing loss for Lower Hutt as we continue our freefall down the ladder, down 4-3 in a close game that could have gone either way, with a couple of pivotal decisions not going our way.  LH up 2-0 and 3-1 before a rollicking Cobras comeback.  Two thumbs up for the artificial - some inconceivably slick passing moves from both sides.

I'm bloody sore though from all the diving around I was doing as keeper. My whole body aches something fierce.

Killer Bees had another close lose, unfortunately it guarantees relegation
I can only comment on the first half as I had to leave - It was 1all at the time and could have gone either way, from what I told the game got quite nasty with some heated challenges and off the ball incidents.

finally lower hutt get back to winning ways, beating wellington utd 3-2.  Some atrocious football due in a large part to the mudpit that is macalister park.  Terrible pitch

Stallions 2-1 over Stokes Valley - giving Div 7 the old University 1-2 finish. Well done to both teams. Could be the start of a long rivalry ...

8-6 in the LH v Wgtn utd game today. probably dont need to say much about the game with that scoreline, but clearly no defence from either team. good fun

stallions beat lower hutt 2-1 in a close game today.  Lower hutt's keeper/striker had a penalty magnificently saved in the second half which would have tied it up.  Cheers everyone for a good competitive season.  Clearly a season of two halves for us - things looked so promising early but we pretty much turned to sh*t for the second half. See all those still in div 7 next season
