CAPITAL 9:

Upper Hutt Saints __ Petone Chuggers __

Tawa Bears __ Seatoun Gulls __

Wgtn Utd Legends __ Wgtn Utd Salmon __

Wgtn Utd Terrace __ Uni Beavers __

Lots of Diamonds- New teams are the Terrace and The Beavers

On last years form I'd say Saints and Legends are the teams to watch..but its never straight forward in the 9

If i was the Saints i would be very very afraid of the Beavers juggernaut that has been quickly climbing the grades over the last 2yrs. After a comfortable 9-0 victory today they smell blood. And with new signing Liam (i can play anywhere) McKinley they are ready to launch an assault on this league

Bears are handicapped by the tall gormless twonk who plays at Sweeper.

He's rubbish (in case he's reading).

personal experience News? Always thought he was alright, would be better if he wasn't hungover 3/4 of the time- like, emanating a paralysing stench of ethanol type of hungover

he was their captain last year

Thats Legends in the Argentina replica- they are not 'on message' when it comes to club strip

Still is.  Workmate, plus Futsal and indoor team mate.

You don't want to go wearing a different strip to your club.  They don't like that sort of thing 'round here.

Some bizarre results in the nine today.

Well done Chuggers for pooping Beavers' party- Bears beating Legends is a turn up. Terrace seem out of there depth

Thought UH were much better team today- some fine finishing, but Salmon had enough chances in the first half to make more of a game of it.

Particularly as last time I spoke to the Bear I know on Friday he was trying to work out how they were going to get 11 players.

Scratching my head at the Petone Chuggers result- how did they draw against the dire Terrace when they put us (Salmon) away 5-0 the week before? Was it because they had a half a dozen ressie ring ins on Easter weekend as was mentioned?  What is the rule about dropping higher grade players down?

This league is wide open, apart from the run away Seatoun Gulls. We were 1-1 with them until the 85th minute when there incessant pressure and our injuries finally led to them collecting all 3 pts.

Plus la meme re Diamonds.Looks like Legends and Salmon are fighting out who will be the onlyDiamonds team in the division next season. At the other end, Saints' defence looks a bit porous for theirposition - but look at their attack! Conceding two a game but scoring five.  CAPITAL 9:
